The Gladiator Page 4
man flew back down, stood back up and swung at me. I tried to dodge but then I was reminded of my friends and just stood there for him to punch me.
I flew back and tumbled on the floor, I felt something in my mouth and spit it out, it was one of my tooth and I threw it onto the floor.
The giant picked his flail back up, I ran towards him but then he swung the flail at my head. I started to fly back but then he caught me by my foot and threw me onto the floor. He then started swinging the flail at my stomach, hands, arms, anything. The beast was yelling for me to get up but I pushed it to the back of my head, not wanting anymore bloodshed then there already was.
The adrenaline filled me, but there was no rage, I was in perfect control of it.
The giant swung once more but then I caught the spiked ball and ripped it off the chain and threw it aside. The giant looked at the handle and just stood there, I then kicked him in his knee and it bent into an impossible angle. The giant groaned out in pain and then stood up on his broken leg. The giant yelled out and started flexing his leg as much as he could, then the knee popped back to how it was before.
The king yelled “Amazing, he put his knee back in place by just flexing!”
The giant finally recovered and got mad at what I did to him, so he grabbed me and ripped off one of my arms. He then started smacking me with my own arm, threw me onto the floor and stomped on my head. Nothing but pain and agony filled my body, the giant lifted his foot to stomp on me again but then I rolled out the way.
I was bleeding to death, and I had many broken bones, the beast took this to his advantage and started yelling at me “You need me, you’re dying, I can bring glory, fame, and power!”
I was too weak to reply or push it back any farther, it took over my body, then my wounds started closing, my bones started mending itself back together, and my arm wound started closing itself.
The beast made me stand up and stare the giant right in the face, I growled at the giant, and just like everyone else, the giant’s rage turned into feat of my power.
I jumped through the giant’s stomach leaving a whole the size of my body quicker than the blink of the eye, the giant fell down and said to me “Good luck…”
I then threw the beast aside, and was back in control of my body, I bent down next to the giant and prayed that he had a smooth farewell.
The king exclaimed “Folks, we have a new champion, guards, take him to my throne room so I can give him the title of champion!”
The crowd cheered my name “Decapitator, Decapitator, Decapitator!”
But this time, the cheers did not bring me any joy what so ever, it only reminded me of all my killings, especially Billy.
The guards opened the gate and escorted me towards the throne room, we went through hallways, dining halls, and treasuries before we made it to the throne room. There was a red carpet, with guards standing next to the red carpet, the king was sitting in his throne, and behind the throne were three giant windows.
The king smiled and said “Come, come and stand in front of me.”
I started walking up to him, not because he told me to, but to kill him, I slowly turned into the beast again while I was walking. The guards on the side saluted me while I walked down the red carpet.
A guard next to the king yelled out “Look at him, he’s turning into the beast, get him!”
All the guards rushed at me and more guards rushed into the room. I easily pushed them all aside, but they were still stabbing and slashing at me, but the rage blocked out all sense of pain.
When I was getting closer to the king, who was now in fear but still sitting in his throne, I started sprinting towards him. When I was in front of the king, I tackled him and the both of us flew out the window, heading to a shark infested ocean, with razor sharp rocks below.
The king was yelling and I was praying to my friends to forgive me for what I’ve done, not being able to protect Angel, and accidently killing Billy.
I turned around, and then I was stabbed by many of the rocks. I smiled at the sky, bidding the world a farewell, then, I saw the light.
